Questions homeowners actually ask before they call. Grouped by what you’re trying to figure out. Don’t see yours? Call us — we’d rather walk you through it on the phone than have you guess.
Call (818) 640-2944How fast can you get here for an emergency?+
Our average response time across LA County is 45 minutes, 24/7. Call us and we'll give you a real ETA on the phone — no auto-attendants, no waiting.
Do you handle insurance claims?+
Yes. We provide detailed reports, photo documentation, and itemized estimates that work directly with Allstate, Liberty Mutual, Mercury, and most major carriers.
What's covered by your lifetime workmanship guarantee?+
Every repair and restoration we perform is guaranteed for as long as you own the property. If our work fails, we come back and make it right — no fine print.
Is hydro jetting safe for older pipes?+
We pressure-test and camera-inspect before jetting. For homes with fragile cast iron or clay, we recommend a different approach — and we'll tell you that, not upsell you.
How do I prevent water damage between visits?+
Check supply lines under sinks and behind toilets twice a year, watch your water bill for unexplained jumps, and replace washing machine hoses every 5 years.
Do you serve commercial properties?+
Yes — restaurants, multi-unit residential, retail, and small office. Ask about our maintenance contracts.
Pricing & estimates.
Flat-rate, free estimates, insurance billing.
(818) 640-2944Do you charge for estimates?+
No. We come out and write you a fixed-fee estimate for free during normal hours. After-hours dispatches carry a documented service charge that's credited to the work if you book.
Will you give a price over the phone?+
We'll give you a clear range over the phone for simple jobs — drain cleaning, heater swaps, leak detection. For anything we haven't seen, the only honest answer is to come look, and we'll quote in writing before we touch a wrench.
Do you take credit cards?+
Yes — Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, plus Zelle and check. No surcharge for cards.
Do you offer financing?+
For repipe and large restoration jobs, yes. Ask when we write the estimate and we'll send the application — usually approved same day.
Insurance & claims.
What we handle for you so paperwork doesn't fall on the homeowner.
(818) 640-2944Which insurers do you work with?+
Allstate, State Farm, Liberty Mutual, Mercury, Farmers, USAA, and most California carriers. We've never had a major carrier refuse our documentation.
Will my insurance cover this?+
Sudden, accidental water damage is covered by most homeowner policies. Slow, long-term leaks usually aren't. We give you the documentation you need either way — your adjuster makes the final call.
Do I pay you, or does insurance?+
Either works. Many carriers pay us directly under a Direct Insurance Billing agreement. If you prefer to pay and get reimbursed, we provide line-item invoices and photo evidence.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?+
Active leak you can't stop, sewer backup into living areas, no hot water in cold weather, flooded floor, gas-line smell near a water heater. Call us — if it isn't an emergency we'll tell you and book a normal visit.
What should I do before you arrive?+
Shut off the main water valve if you can do it safely (usually outside or in the garage). Move anything that can't get wet. Photograph the damage. We'll walk you through it on the phone.
Do you charge more after hours?+
We have one flat after-hours rate. No surge pricing, no per-fixture nonsense. You'll know the number before we drive out.
How long does a whole-house repipe take?+
Typical Burbank/Glendale single-family takes 2–4 days for PEX, 4–6 for copper. We pull permits, stage in zones so you keep water in at least one bathroom each night, and handle the patch-and-paint.
Tank, tankless, or hybrid water heater?+
It depends on your gas line, electrical, hot-water demand, and how long you'll own the home. We walk you through the math — including SoCalGas / utility rebates — and let you decide.
Do you do mold remediation?+
Yes, when the conditions justify it. We test moisture, isolate the affected materials, contain the area, remove, dry, and verify clean. We don't recommend remediation when it isn't needed.
What cities do you service?+
Burbank, Glendale, Los Angeles, Studio City, North Hollywood, Pasadena, Van Nuys, Highland Park, Silver Lake, and most of the LA basin. If you're not sure, call — we'll tell you honestly.
Do you serve commercial properties?+
Yes — restaurants, multi-unit residential, retail, and small offices. We also offer maintenance contracts with priority dispatch.
